AML Employees Certified In-House and Graduate Level Up Training Program

AML Employees Certified In-House and Graduate Level Up Training Program
July, 2024

After a two month long intensive training program at AML Foods, approximately fifty employees graduated from our in-house leadership development program. Middle managers from both New Providence and Grand Bahama store operations along with our corporate team have been certified in their roles filling competency gaps to improve performance levels and encourage continuous growth and development.   This reinforces one of the company’s core values, “we will always be our best.”

AML Foods Ltd. is focused on succession development as it continues to grow in the Bahamas and believes that to realize its goals, employees must be trained and ready to embrace opportunities as they arise. The robust training entailed soft skills learning coupled with core on the job technical skills training and a rigorous final assessment.  The comprehensive program is the second cohort so far and culminated with a commencement exercise on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the company’s Frank Crother’s Learning and Development Center located on the grounds of the Solomon’s Yamacraw store.

The event was well supported by company executives and leaders who played an integral role in positioning our workforce for success.  Head of Human Resources, Mrs. Kimberley Frazier, congratulated the graduates and applauded their efforts to personal and professional development.  The keynote speaker, Mr. Gavin Watchorn, President & CEO of AML Foods Ltd. inspired the graduates to strive for excellence, to continue to embrace learning and “to do little things well”.

The most outstanding graduate, Mrs. Jade Hepburn, Digital Marketing Coordinator, expressed that she was happy to be part of this program as every module was fascinating, informative and very challenging.

AML’s Talent and Development team continue to assess the training needs of the organization to meet the company’s strategic goals and objectives through its greatest resource, its people.
